Dressers for Dubai Bedrooms — from AED 3,200
A dresser does the unglamorous work in a bedroom: it holds what a wardrobe cannot, and it stops the room looking cluttered. Getting the layout right matters more than getting the style right.
Three wide drawers or six half-width?
Six drawers sound like more storage; three full-width drawers usually hold clothes better, because a folded jumper or a pair of jeans lies flat across the width. Six half-width drawers suit accessories, underwear and small items, or two people sharing one dresser. Decide by what you actually need to store, not by the drawer count.
Legs or plinth?
A dresser on legs looks lighter, lets the flooring run underneath, and can be vacuumed under — better in a small bedroom. A plinth base sits flush to the floor, looks more substantial and keeps dust out from underneath, but reads heavier in a tight space.
Measure before you order
Leave around 50cm of clear floor in front so the drawers open fully — people measure the wall and forget the drawer travel. Check your doorway, lift and stairwell too; a six-drawer dresser does not come apart the way a flat-pack does.
A note on safety
Drawer units can tip forward if a child climbs on an open drawer. If there are young children in the home, secure the dresser to the wall with an anti-tip bracket. Our team can advise at delivery.
