Three checks for the right bedside table
- HeightThe top should sit level with your mattress top, or within about 5 cm of it. Most mattress tops are 50–60 cm from the floor.
- GapLeave at least 5 cm between the bed frame and the table so bedding doesn't catch.
- WidthIn a small bedroom, a round or narrow table keeps the walkway clear. In a larger room, a wider table with drawers earns its space.

Bedside Tables for Dubai Bedrooms
A bedside table is small furniture that gets used more than almost anything else — phone, glass of water, book, charger. Getting the height right matters more than the style.
Match the height to your bed
The top of the bedside table should sit level with the top of your mattress, or within about 5cm of it. Too low and you reach down awkwardly; too high and it looms over the bed. Most beds put the mattress top at 50–60cm, so that is the range to aim for.
How wide?
Leave at least 5cm between the bed frame and the table so bedding does not catch. In a small bedroom a round or narrow table keeps the walkway clear; in a larger room a wider table with drawers earns its space.
Drawers or open shelf?
Drawers hide clutter and keep the surface clean — better if the room is small and everything shows. An open shelf is easier to reach into and makes the room feel lighter.
