For the Side of the Bed That Has No Room

Most bedrooms have one generous side and one tight side — against a wall, a wardrobe or a radiator. A standard 50cm-wide table fits the first and blocks the second. At 38.5cm deep this one slots into the narrow side, so you get a pair that works rather than one table and an empty gap.

Wood and Black Metal

Exposed black legs under a wood top is the most forgiving combination in a bedroom: it sits with white walls, with grey, with a wooden floor, and with almost any bed frame. It also lifts the unit off the floor, so a vacuum head goes underneath — which a solid-sided cabinet does not allow.
