What Micro-Plaster Actually Is
A fine plaster skim applied over a solid wood core and sealed. The surface has a soft matte depth that paint does not — closer to polished concrete than to a lacquered finish, but without concrete's weight.
Two honest points. It is a seamless surface, so a deep chip shows the core underneath and cannot be sanded out the way timber can. And a matte finish hides fingerprints better than gloss but holds dust more.

The two-thirds rule puts this alongside a sofa of about 210cm and up — a large three-seater or a sectional. In a standard apartment living room it will crowd the space; our 70cm round table is the right scale there.
At 40cm it sits level with most sofa seats. Leave about 40cm of walking room around it.
Five Finishes
Latte, White and Walnut are the neutrals — latte is the most forgiving of marks, white the least. Black anchors a room of pale furniture.
Tangerine is the decision. At 140 x 100cm this is a great deal of colour in one place, and it needs a plain room around it. One orange table in a neutral living room reads as deliberate; alongside patterned rugs and coloured cushions it becomes noise.
