25cm Is Very Low
Most coffee tables sit at 40–45cm. At 25cm this is barely above the floor, and that is the point: set against a deep, low modern sofa it keeps the whole room reading long and horizontal rather than cluttered at eye level.
The cost, said plainly. You will lean a long way to reach a cup, and it is the wrong table if you eat or work in front of the sofa. Our 45cm marble table is the standard height.
100cm Square
The two-thirds rule puts this alongside a sofa of about 150cm. A square is reachable from every side, so it suits a layout where chairs face the sofa rather than one where everything lines up along a single wall.
Black on an Engineered Core
Engineered board with a black finish, not solid timber. Said plainly: it gives a perfectly flat, seamless surface at a price solid wood could not match at this size — but a deep chip shows the board underneath and cannot be sanded out.
Black hides daily marks better than any pale finish. It will show dust, as every matte dark surface does.
