A white marble top on a walnut base — 120 x 60cm, 45cm tall. Stone and timber together rather than stone on metal, which is the difference you feel in the room.
Why Wood Under Marble
Most marble tables sit on steel, which is fine and slightly cold. A wood base warms the piece and ties it to timber you already have — flooring, a TV unit, a dining table. In a UAE apartment, where floors are usually pale tile or wood-effect, that connection does a lot of quiet work.
120 x 60cm at 45cm Tall
The two-thirds rule puts this alongside a three-seater of about 180–200cm, which is the most common sofa size in a Dubai apartment. At 45cm it sits level with most sofa seats. Leave about 40cm between the two.
Natural Marble
Every top is cut from real stone, so the veining will not match the photograph exactly. That is the material rather than a fault.
Marble also stains. Coffee, wine and oil mark it if left sitting, and a hot mug can leave a ring. Use coasters and wipe spills quickly. If the table will take daily use with children, our wooden version forgives a great deal more.
Veneer on the Base
The base is natural walnut veneer over an engineered core, not solid walnut. It looks the same and costs a fraction of what solid timber would — but a deep scratch will show the board underneath.
