Terylene, and Why It Is the Practical Choice
Terylene is a tightly woven synthetic. It has no pile to crush and no loops to catch, and it holds its colour under strong light rather than fading — which matters in a UAE apartment where a chair may sit in afternoon sun for years.
It also wipes down. Bouclé and velvet both need more care than people expect; a flat tight weave does not.
The trade-off is honest: terylene has none of bouclé's texture or velvet's depth. It looks like what it is — a plain, well-made fabric. If you want the chair to add texture to a room, our bouclé armchair on a wood sled frame is the better piece.
Graphite
The darkest neutral we carry, and the most forgiving. A graphite chair hides daily marks better than any pale fabric and anchors a room of white walls and light furniture.
In a small dark room it will feel heavy. There it is worth choosing a pale chair and accepting the extra care.
Where It Belongs
This is the chair for a room that actually gets used — a family living room, a home office, a holiday-home rental. It is not the piece people photograph; it is the one still working in five years.

78cm wide, 90cm deep and 88cm tall. Leave about 30cm of clear space on each side, and beside a sofa keep the seat heights within about 5cm of each other.
