What Pleating Actually Does

An unpleated curtain gathers wherever the fabric decides to. Sewn pleats fix the folds at regular intervals, so the curtain hangs the same way every time it is drawn — and it keeps its shape after months on the rail.

It is the detail that separates curtains that look fitted from curtains that look hung. On a plain colour it does most of the work.

Beige and White Together

Two neutrals rather than one. The combination gives a plain window some definition without introducing a colour that has to match the sofa, the rug and whatever you buy next year.

It suits a bedroom or a living room where the walls are already pale — which describes most UAE apartments.

Light Control

These filter daylight and soften glare rather than blocking light completely. They will not darken a bedroom for sleeping past sunrise. For that, our blackout curtains are the piece.

Ready-Made, Not Made-to-Measure

Most curtain companies in Dubai need an appointment, a measuring visit and a fitting — usually a fortnight. These arrive in 3–5 days and you hang them yourself.

The trade-off is one fixed size. For an unusual window, a made-to-measure specialist will fit it better than we can.

Sizing

3m wide × 2m drop. Pleated curtains need the full fabric width to hang properly — do not buy a narrower panel and stretch it, because the pleats flatten out and the effect is lost. One panel suits a window of about 1.5m.
