Upright, and Why That Matters
A reclined headboard looks relaxed and is uncomfortable to sit against — your neck ends up forward while your back leans back. An upright one supports the whole spine, so an hour of reading or working in bed does not leave you stiff.
If the bedroom doubles as the place you use a laptop, this is the more practical shape. If you only ever lie down in it, a lower or softer frame will do.
Terylene, in Plain Terms
Terylene is a tightly woven polyester. It is not as soft as velvet or as textured as bouclé, and it does not pretend to be — what it does is wipe down easily, resist fading in strong light, and hold its colour for years. In a bright UAE bedroom that is the practical trade.
