The two words get used interchangeably and they are different pieces. An accent chair is chosen to be looked at — slimmer, more upright, more decorative. A lounge chair is chosen to be sat in: deeper seat, lower back angle, softer padding.
You can tell which one you need by asking where it goes. Beside a bookshelf with a lamp, facing the balcony, opposite the television — that is a lounge chair. In an entryway or a bedroom corner as a shape — that is an accent chair.
Two Fabrics, Two Feels
White Bouclé has a looped texture that hides small marks and feels warm to lean against — which matters in an air-conditioned room. Ivory Sponge is smoother and softer to the touch, with a more uniform surface.
Both are pale. If the chair will take daily use from children, ask our team on WhatsApp about darker options before ordering.
Before You Order
A deep lounge chair takes more floor than it looks like it will. Leave about 30cm clear on each side and allow room in front for your legs to stretch — that is the whole point of the shape.
Lower seats are harder to get out of. Worth considering if older family members will use the room daily.
