The Drawer Solves the Real Problem

This one has a large concealed drawer built into the base. Bedding stays with the bed, which is the single most useful feature a sofa bed can have and the one most of them skip.
Bouclé on Solid Ash
Bouclé has a looped texture close to lamb's fleece — it hides small marks, feels warm to lean against, and adds texture to a room without adding colour.
The legs are solid ash rather than veneered board, finished in walnut. Solid timber takes a knock without exposing a different material underneath, and exposed legs let the floor show through so the sofa does not read as a block.
Before You Order
Leave 90 to 120cm of clear floor in front of the sofa for the bed to open into, measured with your coffee table in its usual place.
Note that the drawer needs clearance too — it pulls forward from the base, so a rug with a thick pile directly in front can catch it.
