Modern Rounded Single Bouclé Bed

A single bed in bouclé with rounded edges throughout — headboard, frame and base, all soft.

No Hard Edges Anywhere

This is the frame to choose for a young child's room, and the reason is practical rather than decorative. A rounded, padded bed has no sharp corner at knee height, no hard edge along the base, and nothing at head height to catch a fall.

It also quietens a room. UAE bedrooms with tiled floors and bare walls carry sound; soft furniture is the cheapest thing that fixes it.

Bouclé

The looped texture catches light and breaks up what would otherwise be a flat surface. It also hides small marks better than velvet or a flat weave — which on a child's bed is not a small consideration.

The honest limit: bouclé loops can snag, and a pulled loop does not repair itself. Worth knowing if there are pets in the house.

Standard Single Sizing

A single mattress in the UAE is 90 x 200cm. Leave about 60cm of clear floor on the side the bed is entered from — with a child's bed you will be making it daily, and less than that turns into a fight.

Measure the bedroom doorway before ordering. An upholstered frame does not fold.
