A Curve Instead of a Corner

On a single bed the effect is stronger than on a double. A single frame is narrow, so a curve across the top reads as a shape rather than a detail.

The Trade-Off
A curved headboard does not sit flush against a wall the way a flat panel does, so you lose a few centimetres of floor. In a narrow bedroom, measure with that in mind.

A single mattress in the UAE is 90 x 200cm. Leave about 60cm of clear floor on the side the bed is entered from, and measure the bedroom doorway before ordering — an upholstered frame does not fold.
