Or Emerald Green velvet, which turns the same chair into a different piece entirely. Velvet on flat panels catches light across each plane separately, so the three-panel structure becomes obvious rather than subtle.

Why the Panels Are Separated
A continuous shell wraps you in. Separated panels leave gaps at the corners, so air moves through and the chair does not hold heat the way an enclosed shape does. In an air-conditioned room that is a small thing; in a warm one it is not.
It also makes a substantial chair look lighter — you see through the gaps to the room behind.
Tapered Walnut Legs
Fine tapered legs are the counterweight to three solid panels. They lift the chair off the floor, tie it to other wood in the room, and stop the panels reading as a block.
Placing It
Leave about 30cm of clear space on each side. The panel structure is worth seeing from an angle rather than straight on.
