Velvet in ivory looks exactly as good as you imagine and needs more care than any other combination in this range. It shows crumbs, water spots and hand marks. Channelled velvet is slightly more forgiving than flat velvet — the ridges break up the surface — but this is a chair for a dining room used for dinners, not a kitchen table used for breakfast with children.
If you want the look with less upkeep, bouclé in a similar shade hides marks considerably better.
