Two Sizes, Two Different Jobs
- 170 x 70cm — tall and relatively narrow. Fits a hallway, or the wall beside a wardrobe.
- 180 x 90cm — properly wide. This one reflects the room, not just the person standing in front of it, which is what makes a space feel larger.
If the goal is opening up a small living room, take the 90cm width. If the goal is checking an outfit in a tight corridor, the 70cm does the job for less.
The Wave Edge
The frame follows a soft undulating line rather than a clean arc. On a large mirror that matters more than it sounds — 180cm of straight edge reads as architecture; 180cm of wave reads as a piece of furniture.
The trade-off: a decorative outline competes with anything else decorative nearby. This mirror wants a plain wall to itself.
Standing or Hanging
At this height it can lean against a wall or be mounted. If you lean it, anchor the top to the wall. A 180cm mirror resting on tile is a genuine hazard with children or pets in the house, and no amount of care replaces a fixing.
If mounting, keep the bottom edge 20 to 30cm off the floor so your feet stay in the reflection.
