A Shape First, a Mirror Second
Most mirrors are a rectangle or an arch, and the frame stays out of the way. This one has an irregular wavy outline, so it works as wall art that happens to reflect. The reason to buy it is how it looks switched off, not what you can see in it.
That makes it right for a bare living room wall, above a sofa, or in an entrance where the wall is the first thing people see. It is the wrong piece for a dressing area — there a plain full-length mirror does a better job for less money.
Where to Hang It
Centre the glass at about 145 to 150cm from the floor. Give it clear wall on both sides: an irregular outline needs space around it to read, and pushed into a corner the shape simply disappears.
Hang it where it reflects something worth reflecting — a window, a lamp, a plant. Facing a blank wall, it doubles a blank wall.
