Кровать из сланца Осло

A slate-grey upholstered bed with the restraint of Scandinavian design — no tufting, no ornament, no hardware on show. The kind of frame that looks better in five years than it does on delivery day.

Grey, and Why It Is the Safe Colour

Slate is a cool mid-grey — dark enough to hide daily marks, light enough not to weigh down a small room. It is the most forgiving colour in a bedroom: it works with white bedding and with dark, with wood and with metal, in a bright room and a dim one.

If you are furnishing a rental, or a room you might restyle later, grey is the frame that will not need replacing when everything else changes.

The Scandinavian Approach

Scandi design in a bedroom is mostly about what is left out: no buttoned headboard, no carved wood, no visible legs or brackets. What remains is proportion and material. It suits UAE apartments well, where rooms are often bright and rectangular and a fussy frame fights the architecture.
