Metallic furniture goes wrong when there is too much of it. Here the gold sits only in the legs, beneath stone tops that stay quiet — enough to catch light and tie into brass lighting or door handles, not enough to make the room about metal.

Two Sizes, Two Heights

- Ø60 x 38cm — lower and smaller, for beside a chair or tucked partly underneath.
Because the two differ in height they layer rather than simply nest: the small one slides under the large one so the tops sit at different levels. That is what makes a pair look considered instead of doubled.

Stone stains. Coffee, wine and oil mark it if left sitting, and a hot mug can leave a ring. Use coasters and wipe spills quickly.
