When Narrow Is the Right Answer
Most dining tables are 80–90cm deep. At 70cm this one gives back 10–20cm of floor on each side, which is often the difference between a walkway you can use and one you turn sideways for. You still seat six across the length; you just lose the room for large serving platters down the middle.
