29cm Is Unusually Low
Most coffee tables sit at 40–45cm. At 29cm this is closer to a plinth than a table, and that is deliberate: it sits well under the seat line of a deep modern sofa, so the room reads long and low rather than cluttered at eye level.
The cost, plainly. You will lean noticeably further forward to reach a cup, and it is the wrong table if you tend to eat or work in front of the sofa. Our 45cm marble table is the standard height.
Honey Walnut or Cognac Oak
Honey Walnut is the darker and warmer of the two, and it hides marks better — which matters on a low table that will take feet as often as cups.
Cognac Oak is lighter with more visible grain, and it keeps a small room feeling open.
Veneer on an Engineered Core
Real wood veneer over MDF. Said plainly: it looks like solid timber and costs far less, but a deep scratch reaches the board underneath and cannot be sanded out. On a low table in a family room, that is worth knowing before you order rather than after.
