Why a Triangle Works in a Corner
A round table needs clear space all round it. A rectangle wants a wall to run parallel to. A curved triangle sits into a corner or against an L-shaped sofa in a way neither manages — one edge follows the seating, the other two open into the room.
It is also why three legs make sense here: a triangle on four legs would fight itself.
Blade Legs
Flat tapered legs rather than turned or square ones. Seen edge-on they almost disappear; seen face-on they read as solid panels. The table changes as you walk past it, which is what keeps a plain dark top interesting.
Dark Walnut
The darkest timber we carry. It hides marks better than any pale wood, anchors a room of light furniture, and reads as a silhouette rather than a surface — which suits an unusual shape.
In a small or already dark room it will feel heavy. There a pale ash table keeps the space open.
