Ready-Made, Not Made-to-Measure

Most curtain companies in Dubai work the same way: book an appointment, wait for someone to come and measure, wait again while the curtains are made, then book a fitting. A fortnight, start to finish.

These arrive in 3–5 days. Order them, hang them, done. If you have just moved into an apartment and the windows are bare tonight, that difference is the whole point.

What Sheer Curtains Do

Sheer fabric is loosely woven, so light passes through while the view does not. From inside, the room stays bright. From outside during daylight, people cannot see in.

Say the limit plainly: after dark, that reverses. With the lights on inside, sheers give almost no privacy at night. That is true of every sheer curtain, not just ours.

The usual answer is to layer — sheers for the day, a heavier pair behind for the evening. Our blackout curtains are the second layer.

Sizing

3m wide × 2m drop. For a full gathered look you want roughly twice the window width in fabric, so one 3m panel covers a window of about 1.5m properly. A wider window needs two.

Measure the drop from your curtain rail to where you want the hem — 2m suits a standard apartment window, not a floor-to-ceiling one.
