What AED 740 Buys
Not much furniture at this price is worth owning. This one is, because it does not pretend to be more than it is: a plain wood top, a thin steel frame, and no detailing that would look cheap if it were done badly. Simple things survive being made to a price.
Be clear about what it is not. There is no storage, no lower shelf, and the top is a modest size — this is a surface for two mugs and a remote, not a centrepiece. If you want the table to anchor the room, our 140cm micro-plaster table does that job properly.

The pale top keeps a small room feeling open; the black legs give it a line to sit on so it does not visually float. It is the combination that works in the widest range of rooms, which is why nearly every furniture brand sells a version of it.
Getting the Size Right
Two rules do most of the work. A coffee table should be roughly two-thirds the length of your sofa. And it should sit about 40cm away from it — close enough to reach a cup without standing up, far enough to walk past comfortably.
Height should be level with the sofa seat or slightly below. A table taller than the seat looks wrong from every angle.
