Why a Blend Rather Than Pure Linen

Pure linen looks beautiful and creases the moment you look at it. A blend keeps the slubbed, natural texture but holds its shape on the rail, which matters on a curtain that hangs in one position for months.

It also handles UAE humidity better. Natural fibres absorb moisture and go limp in a humid room; a blend holds its drape.

Soft White, Honestly

White curtains make a room feel larger and brighter than any other colour — they reflect light back into the space instead of absorbing it. In an inner apartment room with one window, that is worth more than it sounds.

They also show the most. Dust settles visibly on pale fabric, and in Dubai that means washing more often than you would a mid-tone. If the window faces a busy road or a construction site, choose beige instead and save yourself the laundry.

3m wide × 2m drop. Allow roughly twice the window width in fabric for a gathered look, so one panel covers a window of about 1.5m.
