Bouclé in a Bedroom
Bouclé is the looped, nubby fabric that has taken over interiors, and it earns its place on a bed for a practical reason: the texture breaks up light, so marks and shadows disappear into the surface instead of sitting on top of it. A low platform makes a bedroom feel taller, but it removes under-bed storage entirely — worth planning for in an apartment. Leave around 60cm of clear floor on each side you walk past, and measure your doorway and lift.
