At this size, a marble top is a single slab that has to be quarried, cut and moved without cracking — which is most of the cost, and why 200cm marble tables are rare compared to 120cm ones. The low-profile steel frame is doing structural work here, not decoration: it carries the weight while keeping the visible line thin.
Living With a Marble Top
Every top is cut from natural stone, so the veining varies from piece to piece — yours will not be identical to the photograph. Marble is porous: wipe spills quickly, use coasters under glasses and hot cups, and avoid acidic cleaners.
