122cm Square, and Who It Is For
This is a table for a seating group, not a single sofa — two sofas facing each other, or a sofa with chairs on either side. Everyone can reach it, which is the whole point of a square at this size.
In a standard apartment living room with one three-seater against a wall, it will dominate and eat the walking space. Our 70cm round table is the right scale there.

Low, so it sits below most sofa seats and keeps the sightline open across a large room. Leave about 40cm between the table and each seat.
Veneer on an Engineered Core
Real oak veneer over a manufactured board. Said plainly: it looks like solid oak and costs a fraction of what solid oak would, but a deep scratch goes through to the board underneath and cannot be sanded out.
At 122cm square, a solid oak version would cost several times this and weigh more than two people could carry. The veneer is the reason a table this size is affordable at all.
