Grey, and Why It Is the Safe Colour
Slate is a cool mid-grey — dark enough to hide daily marks, light enough not to weigh down a small room. It is the most forgiving colour in a bedroom: it works with white bedding and with dark, with wood and with metal, in a bright room and a dim one.
