The Circle Is the Whole Design
A round headboard removes every straight line from the head of the bed. In a bedroom of rectangles — wardrobe, window, door, mirror — that single circle becomes the thing the room is arranged around. It does the work that a feature wall or a large artwork would, and it does not need anything hung above it.
That is also the constraint: this bed decides the room. Do not plan a mirror, artwork or shelving above the headboard, because there is no wall left. Keep the bedside tables and lamps simple so they do not compete.
Before You Order
A circular headboard is taller than a standard one at its centre point. Check the wall height above your bed — a window ledge, air-conditioning vent or shelf at that height will clash with the shape rather than sit beside it.
Leave around 60cm of clear floor on each side you walk past, and measure your doorway and lift.
