Before You Order a High-Back
Two things worth checking. First, sight lines — in an open-plan room, six 98cm chairs form a visual wall between the dining area and the living space. In a separate dining room that is exactly the effect you want; in a studio it can close the room in.
Second, ceiling height. High-back chairs look best under a normal or high ceiling. In a low-ceilinged apartment they can feel top-heavy.
