65cm Wide, and Why That Number Matters
Most armchairs are 70–90cm wide. This one is 65cm across and 60cm deep. That sounds like a small difference on paper and is not: it is the gap between a chair that fits beside a balcony door and one that blocks the walkway past it.
It suits a studio, a bedroom corner, a hallway, or the space beside a desk. In a villa living room it will look undersized — our oversized bouclé lounge chair is the right scale there.
Seven Colours, and the Honest Split
Off White, Dark Grey and Black are the ones that disappear into a scheme. Pale Pink, Lemon, Carmine and Royal Blue are the reason to choose a small chair in the first place — a strong colour on a compact piece adds character without committing the room the way a coloured sofa would.
What the Piping Does
A cord is sewn along each seam, which keeps velvet's edges sharp instead of letting them soften and roll. It is what stops a small chair reading as a cushion on legs.
The honest trade-off: piping is the first place wear shows, because it sits proud of the surface. On a chair used every day the edges will dull before the panels do.
Placing It
Leave about 30cm of clear space on each side. At 71cm tall it sits below most window ledges, so it can go under a window where a high-backed chair could not.
