Low and Long
240cm long, 80cm deep and only 44cm tall. That height is the defining feature: this sits well below a standard sofa, which keeps the sightline across a room open and makes a small living space read larger than it is.
The trade-off is real and worth saying plainly. Low, deep seating is harder to get out of, and a 44cm frame puts the seat close to the floor. Worth considering if older family members will use the room daily — our 240cm three-seater at 80cm tall is the easier seat.
Tufting
Stitched channels across the seat and back rather than a plain surface. Beyond the look, tufting stops filling migrating within a cushion, which is what makes cheaper sofas go lumpy after a year.
It also hides daily wear well — the stitching breaks up the surface, so pressure marks are less obvious than on a flat panel.
Thirty-Three Combinations
Fabric first. Bouclé hides marks and adds texture. Velvet gives the deepest colour and shows the most. Mélange is flecked rather than flat, which makes it the most forgiving where nothing quite matches.
Then colour. White, Sand, Taupe, Sage Gray and Black are the neutrals. Terracotta, Mocha and Dusty Rose warm a room. Mint and Navy cool it. Olive sits between the two.
